Shipping Policy
With the unpredictable conditions that all shipping carriers are currently experiencing, due to staffing shortages, firm delivery times unfortunately cannot be guaranteed. Potential delays may also exist due to severe weather, holidays, or postal service problems that are outside of our control. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
Processing Times
Most orders are processed within 2-5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. Processing times include making your artwork according to the specifications you chose and/or preparing it for shipment. Processing times are separate from shipping times. More specific processing times are:
- Fine Art Prints (Glossy): 2-4 business days
- Fine Art Prints (Matte): 4-9 business days
- Original Paintings: 1-2 business days
International Shipping Rates and Estimates
Yes, we offer international shipping to all countries for art prints and original paintings. Coastline Charcoal is not responsible for shipping charges outside of the United States at this time. (Hopefully, someday that will change!)
Estimated domestic shipping timeframes are in addition to the processing times.
For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Coastline Charcoal is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer. Delays due to orders being held in customs are out of our control. If your tracking information shows your package is stuck in Customs and you have not been notified, please contact your Customs office to inquire about the parcel. Unfortunately, we don't have any control over this as it depends on your country's import law.
Shipment Confirmation and Tracking
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within the estimated timeframes noted above, after receiving your shipping confirmation email, please use our contact form with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
When Will My Order Ship?
Many orders ship the same day you order (when placed before about 12:00 pm mst M-F) though delays are normal when we’re experiencing a high volume of orders. Expect an additional day for your order to ship during shop updates and the holidays, due to a high volume of orders. We will contact you if there is a delay for any reason, and please don’t hesitate to reach out to us for order questions.

- Fine Art Prints (Glossy): 1-4 business days

I Made an Error When Typing My Address. Can You Correct It?
Thank you for noticing! If you see any discrepancies with your order, please let us know right away. Orders can ship in as soon as an hour, so it is always nice if you can be sure your address and your order are perfect the first time.
I Need My Item(s) ASAP- Can They Be Rushed?
We do not offer rush shipping, but we ship USPS Priority or First Class (depending upon weight). Due to this, most contiguous US orders should arrive in 4-7 business days. Some large format prints, orders with incomplete addresses, or printing errors, will be delayed until the issue is resolved or we can make the print you ordered.
How Will You Ship My Print?
Small to medium format prints (5"x7" up to 8"x10") will come packaged in a clear bag with 100% recycled cardboard backing. We use plant-based bags in as many sizes as possible. Prints are carefully encased in thick rigid cardboard and then sealed in a 100% recycled padded paper mailer.
Larger format prints (11"x14"+) come rolled in a cardboard tube. In the instance that your item is damaged during shipping, let us know.
I Didn't Receive All of My Items. When Will the Other(s) Arrive?
Some items will occasionally ship separately. Let us know by emailing us through our contact form if you have any trouble with your items not arriving. We will look into it right away!
My Order Was Not Fulfilled, but My Card Was Charged- Can You Fix This?
In the off chance that occurs, send us an email and we will confirm that the order has indeed not gone through on our end. In this instance, please contact your credit card company to resolve the charge. I recommend using PayPal as it is a much more reliable and efficient form of payment. Our team is working on a solution for this occasional occurrence.
Can I Add Something to My Order?
Once your order is placed, we cannot make changes to it since we can’t charge you for the additional item(s). The best thing is to place another order along with the first, as soon as possible.
